Today I'm hosting Alex J Cavanaugh as he --Takes the World by Storm. I had the privilege of asking Alex a question which you see below, so I'm just gonna zip my lips and let Alex take you by storm...

What 'drives' you, as in why do you write?

I wanted to write a story that I enjoyed reading. I kept writing because fans wanted more. I guess the drive was to see if I could make everyone happy three times in a row.

By Alex J Cavanaugh

From the Amazon Best Selling Series!

A storm gathers across the galaxy…

Commanding the Cassan base on Tgren, Byron thought he’d put the days of battle behind him. As a galaxy-wide war encroaches upon the desert planet, Byron’s ideal life is threatened and he’s caught between the Tgrens and the Cassans.

After enemy ships attack the desert planet, Byron discovers another battle within his own family. The declaration of war between all ten races triggers nightmares in his son, threatening to destroy the boy’s mind.

Meanwhile the ancient alien ship is transmitting a code that might signal the end of all life in the galaxy. And the mysterious probe that almost destroyed Tgren twenty years ago could return. As his world begins to crumble, Byron suspects a connection. The storm is about to break, and Byron is caught in the middle…

  1. Thanks, Faraway! Hope I make everyone happy.

  2. Nice to see Alex getting such a great 'storm' of support. Congrats and best of sales, Alex!

Now I need to read the last book in this trilogy.

  3. Congrats once more to the ninja wannabe, although no chance of making every single person happy, doesn't hurt to try though haha

  4. well alex definitely succeeded. :) i'm one happy fan!

  5. I have no doubt that hubby and I will love this one too!

  6. ...not only an excellent storyteller, but a friend and peer. Couldn't be happier for Alex's success ;)

  7. The answer to this question makes sense. I would hope all writers are writing things they'd want to read. How tedious for anyone who isn't.

    Wrote By Rote

  8. A triple Cassa treat!
This "storm" has been of epic proportions!
    Writer In Transit

  9. Very cool to see so many people helping Alex out with his release. And agreed, you have to write for yourself. I hate seeing someone write something just to pander to a fad, only for it to not be a fad anymore/turn out terribly/etc.
