‘WHAT ARE WORDS?’

REPENTANCE {the activity of reviewing one’s actions and feeling contrition or regret for past wrongs. It generally involves a commitment to personal change and resolving to live a more responsible and humane life.}

I need to repent of many things. I probably should start with all of those seventy-five cent words, then I could move onto some of the gibberish I post and follow up with my poor grammar. BUT that would only cover the wrongs committed here on my blog. Unfortunately there are many things I should repent of to be a better person. Starting with bad feelings I’ve harbored against anyone, ever. Moving onto the times I have not shown kindness, when it would have been so simple. Coming around to being selfish and putting my needs ahead of others. I could go on all day here, BUT let me tell you, I’m a work in progress. REPENTANCE it’s a process too. I figure God knows I’m on the path and I won’t finish up in this lifetime. I think it’s knowing our weaknesses and working on them that counts. It’s being the very best you can possible be today.

This post has been written for some time BUT today I want to add I’m repenting of all the whining I’ve been doing here in this space. I’m feeling better and appreciate all the support and well wishes.

  1. I was horrified by the "new" blogger. I couldn't even find my dashboard. Somehow I stumbled on a button to return to the "old" look and heaved a huge sigh of relief. Is there something wrong with the old look?

    Hope you're feeling better.

  2. No need to apologize for whining. I actively have to try to stop myself from doing it on my blog as well. I'm a heavy venter - better out than in! And the changes, ugh, it took me five minutes to figure out how to get to my dashboard.

  3. While we struggle with the repentance part, the good news is that God's already forgiven us.
Sorry you're having trouble with the new interface. I switched last year so I'm used to it now.

  4. You're smart to write some of your posts for this challenge ahead of time. Repentence: we could all write a post about that!

  5. Yup, used to the new Blogger too, since I went ahead with it when I started my blog.

My old blog is completely custom. I got an old blogger friend create one from scratch. It's so much better.

  7. Very inspiring post! And, I haven't witnessed any of your whining, but if in fact you are, my blog revolves around my whines and rants. So, don't worry about it.

Although, that red font is hilariously ironic.

  8. Whining happens for reasons. I definitely have been doing some of my own. The Blogger change threw me for a while, then my desktop went belly up. Please let something go smoothly as we head into the home stretch!

  9. Please don't apologize for whining about Google because I'd have to and I don't want to. Google drives me nuts.

  10. I'm feeling your frustration with Blogger. The scheduled posts aren't working and I tried out the new look, but didn't like it.

Hmmm... So far I haven't noticed anything different about my Dashboard and blog, but I am sure Blogger has some fresh hell waiting for me just around the next corner (or the next minute).

  20. I like your word and agree with blogger's bad timing. They couldn't have waited until may?

  21. I have so many things I need to repent I don't even want to think about it.

Also, I'm not a big fan of the new blogger either. It doesn't work on my smartphone very well, so I have to wait until I'm at a computer to check comments/stats. Boooo.
