‘WHAT ARE WORDS?’
REPENTANCE {the activity of reviewing
one’s actions and feeling contrition or regret for past wrongs. It generally
involves a commitment to personal change and resolving to live a more
responsible and humane life.}
I need to repent of many things. I
probably should start with all of those seventy-five cent words, then I could
move onto some of the gibberish I post and follow up with my poor grammar. BUT
that would only cover the wrongs committed here on my blog. Unfortunately there
are many things I should repent of to be a better person. Starting with bad
feelings I’ve harbored against anyone, ever. Moving onto the times I have not
shown kindness, when it would have been so simple. Coming around to being
selfish and putting my needs ahead of others. I could go on all day here, BUT
let me tell you, I’m a work in progress. REPENTANCE it’s a process too. I figure
God knows I’m on the path and I won’t finish up in this lifetime. I think it’s
knowing our weaknesses and working on them that counts. It’s being the very
best you can possible be today.
This post has been written for some time
BUT today I want to add I’m repenting of all the whining I’ve been doing here
in this space. I’m feeling better and appreciate all the support and well
wishes.

I was horrified by the "new" blogger. I couldn't even find my dashboard. Somehow I stumbled on a button to return to the "old" look and heaved a huge sigh of relief. Is there something wrong with the old look?
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better.
No need to apologize for whining. I actively have to try to stop myself from doing it on my blog as well. I'm a heavy venter - better out than in! And the changes, ugh, it took me five minutes to figure out how to get to my dashboard.
ReplyDeleteWhile we struggle with the repentance part, the good news is that God's already forgiven us.
ReplyDeleteSorry you're having trouble with the new interface. I switched last year so I'm used to it now.
You're smart to write some of your posts for this challenge ahead of time. Repentence: we could all write a post about that!
ReplyDeleteYup, used to the new Blogger too, since I went ahead with it when I started my blog.
ReplyDeleteMy old blog is completely custom. I got an old blogger friend create one from scratch. It's so much better.
I'm glad you're feeling better. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteVery inspiring post! And, I haven't witnessed any of your whining, but if in fact you are, my blog revolves around my whines and rants. So, don't worry about it.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, that red font is hilariously ironic.
Whining happens for reasons. I definitely have been doing some of my own. The Blogger change threw me for a while, then my desktop went belly up. Please let something go smoothly as we head into the home stretch!
ReplyDeletePlease don't apologize for whining about Google because I'd have to and I don't want to. Google drives me nuts.
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling your frustration with Blogger. The scheduled posts aren't working and I tried out the new look, but didn't like it.
ReplyDeletemine just changed also--but it's been okay--great blog
ReplyDeleteGood blog bit, NITRO. And I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better. Good ol' Babe Ruth does it again!
ReplyDelete;o)
Hmmm... So far I haven't noticed anything different about my Dashboard and blog, but I am sure Blogger has some fresh hell waiting for me just around the next corner (or the next minute).

Aww you whine away all you want, it's your blog after all :) Repentance is a fantastic word. I believe we all need repentance in our lives to teach us humility!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
Catherine
A bit of repentance is good for the soul, but then, so is laughing. I know which one I prefer LOL
ReplyDeleteYou can whine all you want on your blog. I rant all the time on mine.

hah, I think we all could repent daily...that is life and that's why we're human so go easy on yourself!
ReplyDeleteLove this. I am so with you....but you are right, I think if we do the best we can...that is all we can ask for. :-) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love the new blogger!! I found it to be much easier...you will too I hope!!!! Love the red wine!! He Hee
ReplyDeleteI, too, like the new blogger. It will get better.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your post and I need to repent of whining as well. I live a really blessed life and often don't act like it. Not okay!

I like your word and agree with blogger's bad timing. They couldn't have waited until may?
ReplyDeleteI have so many things I need to repent I don't even want to think about it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm not a big fan of the new blogger either. It doesn't work on my smartphone very well, so I have to wait until I'm at a computer to check comments/stats. Boooo.
yeah, the new blogger went as far as to eat the content of my post this morning. Repent is a great word and we all feel that way some times!
